Delhomme is back!!!

The Panthers played against San Diego(a team a lot of people think will go to the superbowl) yesterday and I think most people thought they would lose. It always seems as though people count the Panthers out too soon. I mean sure they didn't have Steve Smith but they're a better team than people think. Jake didn't seem to have any trouble with his arm. He even completed a pass while being tackled. This truly was a great game for Jake and the Panthers to show everyone that they can win without Smith.

I missed the first half of the game because of work but caught parts of the last half while grilling some chicken(mmmmmm bbq chicken). We could have a tougher game next week. We play the Bears who stomped the Colts in their brand new stadium. On another interesting note I've noticed that everytime I say anything about the Bears Sarah says Da Bears. I'm going to start saying it and see how long she'll keep saying it. I wonder if she say it if I just talk about bears in the woods. I'll let you know how it goes.

I like the new direction the team is going. Jake seemed to have plenty of time to find a reciever and throw the ball. Getting rid of Foster was a great move. He couldn't run and fumbled the ball constantly. Williams has really stepped up to the plate like I knew he would.

I'm really excited about this year and can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays out.

Chugga-Chugga Choo Choo

Henry got a wooden train set from Grammie this weekend and he LOVES it. It has a lot of tracks and different trains he can use. While he's playing with it he says chugga-chugga choo-choo and it sounds so funny. He'll say that over and over for 10 minutes.

The tracks have some hills in them and he'll say Thomas train going up hill Thomas train going up hill. It is really funny.

Sometimes the trains will go off the track and he'll get sooo mad. Monday he got so mad and frustrated he started crying but he did not want to stop playing. If we tried to put them up or do something else he would just get madder. He's been better since then and seems to be learning to deal with his frustration. We really wondered if we should just let him deal with the frustration on his own or try to help him. He seemed to be better if I just let him do it all himself.

So if you're wondering what to get him for his birthday he apparently loves trains.
